MacBook Display Replacement Price in India, by Model (2026 Price Guide)
A MacBook screen part costs ₹4,680 or ₹39,990. Your A-number decides which.
Here are our live display part prices and stock for 15 MacBook listings, why two screens for the same Mac can differ by ₹14,000, and a simple check for whether replacing the screen is worth it.
The short answer
- Most Retina MacBook displays cost ₹19,470–₹28,300 as a part.
- Cheapest: the older 13-inch Pro A1278 at ₹4,680. Dearest: the 14-inch Pro original pull-out at ₹39,990.
- MacBook Air M1 (A2337) is ₹22,990, about 46% of the ₹49,720 price of a pre-owned M1 Air.
- Pro 13-inch 2018 to 2020: one ₹19,490 listing covers the A1989, A2159, A2251 and A2289. 13 are in stock.
- Rule out the cable first. A screen that goes dark at wide lid angles can be a cable problem, not the panel.
Price tiers at a glance
The chart groups the listings we sell today. Most sit in one band, and the 14-inch Pro is the outlier.

Why the same Mac can have two prices
- One listing, several Macs. The ₹19,490 listing covers four 13-inch Pro models (A1989, A2159, A2251 and A2289). Check that your A-number is in the title before you order.
- Original pull-out versus display only.On the 14-inch Pro, the original pull-out is ₹39,990 and the display-only part is ₹25,985. Ask which one a quote includes.
- Age and screen type.Older non-Retina screens are cheapest. Retina displays on 2016 to 2020 models cluster around ₹19,000 to ₹23,000.
Is it worth replacing?
Compare the screen price with what the whole Mac is worth. Two examples from our pre-owned prices:
- MacBook Air M1.A new display is ₹22,990. A certified pre-owned M1 Air starts at ₹49,720, so the screen is about 46% of that.
- MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 Pro.A new display is ₹24,999. A pre-owned one starts at ₹90,490, so the screen is about 28% of that.
As a rule of thumb, once the screen costs close to half of what the Mac is worth, consider whether a different Mac makes more sense. The older the Mac, the more that matters. This is our own rule, not a fixed formula.
Before you order a display: 4 checks
- Confirm the model. The A-number is printed on the underside of the case. If you only know the year, Apple’s Identify your MacBook Pro and MacBook Air pages show each model by year, and you can match that to the A-number on the case.
- Rule out the cable. If the screen goes dark only at wide lid angles, it may be the backlight cable rather than the panel.
- Look for other damage.A cracked screen sometimes comes with a bent lid or case. Check the lid before you spend.
- Back up your data.A display fault does not put your files at risk, but back up before any repair.
