MacBook Keyboard Replacement Price in India, by Model (2026)
A MacBook keyboard part costs ₹990 to ₹4,490, depending on the model.
Your A-number decides the part. Below are our live keyboard prices and stock by model, the top-case prices for when a keyboard alone will not do, and how to choose between them.
The short answer
- Older MacBooks (2008–2017): keyboards cost ₹990–₹3,990.
- 2018 to 2023 models: mostly ₹2,990–₹4,490. The M1 Air and M1 Pro 13-inch are the dearest at ₹4,490.
- Out of stock today: only the 15-inch Pro A1286 keyboard.
- Cheap versus whole Mac: an M1 Air keyboard at ₹4,490 is about 9% of a ₹49,720 pre-owned M1 Air, so this is nearly always worth fixing.

Keyboard or top case?
On many MacBooks the keyboard sits in the top case, the metal part that also carries the trackpad and speakers. On some it carries the battery too. If only a few keys fail, the keyboard part is the cheaper fix. If the trackpad, the case or the battery also misbehave, ask about the top case.
| Top case | Price | Stock |
|---|---|---|
| Pro 13-inch A1278 (2011–2012) | ₹2,500 | 1 left |
| Pro 15-inch A1286 (2008) | ₹3,499 | 2 in stock |
| Pro 15-inch A1707, keyboard included (2016–2017) | ₹9,990 | 32 in stock |
| Pro 16-inch A2141 with Touch Bar, trackpad, keyboard, speakers and battery (2019) | ₹9,990 | 2 in stock |
| Pro 13-inch A1425 (2012–2013) | ₹9,500 | Out of stock |
| MacBook 12-inch A1534 (2016–2017) | ₹13,500 | 2 in stock |
Before you order: 4 checks
- Confirm the A-number.It is printed on the underside of the case. Pro 13-inch models from 2018 to 2020 look alike but use different keyboards. If you only know the year, Apple’s Identify your MacBook Pro page shows each model by year, size and chip, and you can match that to the A-number on the case.
- Decide what failed. One or two dead keys usually mean the keyboard. If the trackpad or battery also misbehave, ask about the top case.
- Think about liquid. If something was spilled, the damage may reach the logic board. Get it checked before you buy a keyboard.
- Choose the layout. Our keyboard listings are US/UK layout. Tell us if you need another.
