- 2018–2020 Intel models run ₹23,150–₹51,990.
- M1 and M2 Macs and 14-inch and 16-inch Pros run ₹31,250–₹84,990.
- For M1-era Macs, a board can cost more than half of a whole pre-owned Mac, so compare before you decide.

Is replacing the board worth it?
Compare the board with what a whole Mac costs. Three examples from our own pre-owned prices:
- MacBook Air M1.A board is ₹31,250–₹48,390. A certified pre-owned M1 Air starts at ₹49,720, so the board is about 63% to 97% of that.
- MacBook Pro 13-inch M1.A board is ₹40,120–₹50,840 against a pre-owned Mac at ₹60,400, about 66% to 84%.
- MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 Pro.A board is ₹49,990–₹84,990 against a pre-owned Mac from ₹90,490, about 55% to 94%.
For older Macs the board is cheap against the machine, but the Mac may not be worth much either. As a rule of thumb, once a board costs more than about half of what the Mac is worth, think about a replacement Mac. This is our own rule, not a formula. Cheaper parts to rule out before the board
A MacBook that won’t start can also have a dead battery, a bad display or a keyboard fault. These parts cost far less than a board, so confirm them first. Examples from our catalogue on 31 October 2026:

- Get a diagnosis first.A Mac that won’t start may need a battery, charger or smaller repair, not a board. Don’t buy a board on a guess.
- Match the A-number printed on the underside of the case. One A-number can cover several configurations. If the Mac is dead, enter the serial number at Apple’s coverage page to confirm the exact model.
- Match the configuration.Memory, storage and processor affect the price. Choose the one that matches your Mac.
- Note Touch ID.Some boards are sold with a paired Touch ID sensor. Ask what is included.

Will my data survive a board replacement?
Not necessarily. On newer MacBooks the SSD is soldered to the board, so a replacement board comes with its own storage. Back up first if you can, and ask us about data recovery if the Mac won’t start.
Why is the range so wide?
Each range covers different processor, memory and storage configurations of the same model. A higher-spec board costs more.
